Making Space for Women of Color in the Clean Beauty Space

It’s no secret to any woman of color that our communities are vastly underserved in the beauty industry. This is even more of an issue in the clean beauty space. So often, brands will launch products campaigns that cater to women with fair and white skin while have only a select few shades designated for those of us with deeper skin tones.  We’ve seen some brands working to close this gap in the last year, but we have a long way to go before the cosmetic industry is fully and properly servicing the diverse cultures and skin tones that make up our society.

At Sabreen Cosmetics, we work to fill that void for underrepresented communities.

We work diligently to not only include products specifically designed for those of us who are underserved in the clean beauty space, but to offer a vast array of options that compliments everyone – light, medium, dark, deep-dark, and any other way you choose to classify your look.  A nude lip isn’t going to look the same on Jennifer Lopez as it does on Priyanka Chopra as it does on Queen Viola Davis (the woman can do no wrong!). With this in mind, Sabreen Cosmetics works to create and curate a full line of colors, hues, and pigments that leave all members of our clientele with the products they want and deserve.
