What drives me every day as a female entrepreneur?
The little black girl inside me needs someone to look up too. Then I begin to think of my nieces that look to me for guidance, insight, and perspective. It is my job to create and show them and myself that the limit does not exist.
What advice would you give to aspiring female entrepreneurs?
No one can stop you but YOU, YOU are your own superpower. Also, you must get used to being your biggest support, your go to all of that. I'm not saying that to say that no one will there for you, but most times you are the only one who sees your vision and you can't allow lack of support to kill your spark. Also, don't talk about it, make it pop! Your actions and moves will teach you more than just thinking on them.
In honor of Black History Month, name one black woman you look up to or influenced you and why?
Afeni Shakur was one of my favorite women growing up she was beautiful but not in the way most people fawn over beautiful things. Her mind, essence and even her scars made her distinctive to me and really showed me young that roses really grow from concrete in dark places.
How do you Reign Supreme?
I Reign Supreme in my ability to maintain my individuality in the world that try to make you feel bad for being born 1 of 1.
